OPSEC operations security training online game

The Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland Washington is a US Department of Energy (DOE) government research laboratory.

They are also using a quick learning game to educate and raise security operations awareness.

Anyone can assume the role of an industrial spy to seek out vulnerabilities in a competitor's security policies and practices in the game.

Network Diary: Expect the Unexpected with Social Media

Can't wait to share good microblog links.. think I will log on to Twitter and share. Oh No!! ...
"Twitter Ongoing denial-of-service attack. We are defending against a denial-of-service attack, and will update status again shortly." http://status.twitter.com/

Well, perhaps I will check out Techfuga.com.
Oh My!!! " Techfuga.com offline for months to plan for new platform site Joao"
http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/07/06/techfuga-is-taking-a-couple-of-months-off-delivering-breaking-tech-news/

Hmm.. guess I will check out my favorite networking site Cisco.com.
"Cisco.com experienced an outage of over two hours on Tuesday " http://www.networkworld.com/community/node/44133

Right then, maybe I will check out firefox e-store.
" Mozilla shuts Firefox e-store after security breach"
http://www.networkworld.com/news/2009/080509-mozilla-shuts-firefox-e-store-after.html

Right then.. guess it seems Murphy's Law is in full play this week.
If it can happen, it will happen.

IPv6 with VNC and VNC Reflector security

Going thru my study notes and reviewing information about using Windows and Linux VNC applications with IPv6

1)Using IPv6 with VNC Enterprise Edition 4.1.7 / VNC Personal Edition 4.1.2
http://www.realvnc.com/products/enterprise/4.1/ipv6.html

2)TightVNC over IPv6 is an enhanced version of VNC downloads

3)VNC Reflector is a specialized VNC server which acts as a proxy sitting between real VNC server (a host) and a number of VNC clients (Security)
